And here we are… 2009. Time just flies. I’ve decided to start this blog today, January 1st 2009. Why? Well, I don’t know exactly. I’ve never had a personal blog, and having it I think it could be a good way to keep track of some of the things that are going on in my life. I’m not expecting many (or any) people to read this, so the main reason why I’m writing this is because of what I’ve mentioned above. I think that having this sort of ‘online diary’ to post about anything that I may consider interesting to remember, or to share, would be very useful for me.

On the other side, I thought that it would be a nice way to show some samples of my work (3D, vfx or music) that is (or not) in progress, in any way or format. I’ve started a blog about a short film that I’m doing, A Robot’s Life, a while ago, as some sort of production diary. Well, it’s not something that well structured, or organized, it’s more like a way to share randomly some parts of the process. As I remember or feel like to post anything, I do it, but I’m not trying to follow a schedule or something like that. I don’t even have a deadline for the short film production itself, since I’m doing it in my spare time (or I would say, in my spare time of my spare time, if that makes any sense :)). The idea and development of this short film started 2 years ago, and it’s still in an early stage of production, so who knows when it’s going to be finished.
Anyway, the thing is that gave me the idea of starting a blog to post about other stuff in my life, personal or work.

So, some of the first things that I’ll be posting about here are some work samples of stuff that I’m doing to include in my new reel. So, until it’s done, I’ll be posting some work in progress, some finished shots, or whatever that I remember to post :).

Happy New Year!
